![]() ![]() The 4WD light on the dash doesn't light up but as a few bulbs had to be replaced I dont suppose that proves anything. Then I tried it again at 10 mph and it went in, but i still dont know if its working. After reading the handbook I tried to ease it into 4H from 2H at about 30 mph today but there was resistance, pushing more and I could feel cogs grating slightly so I quit. Should I have noticed any difference on a straight road. But is there a simple way to test the four wheel drive is working? I did drive it on the road for a mile or so in 4H yesterday but I couldn't feel any difference. I have a three month warranty on the vehicle and if anything is wrong I need to find it, when we test drove it we tested it briefly in 4L and the gearing was obviously low and was ok (I know the gearing was low but dont know about the 4WD). I put this is the newbie forum but its probably better here. ![]() I have just this week purchased a 2004 Shogun Sport and would like some information regarding he 4WD.
